Beerlao

It's brewed partly with jasmine rice instead of an all-barley recipe, and Laotians drink so much of it that it's often called a national symbol in its own right.
Beerlao is a rice-based lager brewed by Lao Brewery Company since 1973, sold everywhere from riverside noodle shacks to night markets in its signature green bottle. It's typically served over ice in a shared glass, poured and re-poured around the table.
Why it's made this way: It's one of the most beloved and visible brands in Laos, so tied to national identity that its green-and-gold logo shows up on t-shirts and souvenirs as a stand-in for the country itself.
