Sweden's classic street hot dog is often wrapped not in a sliced bun but a thin piece of flatbread, sometimes with a scoop of mashed potato squeezed in alongside it.

Why it's made this way: These small, low-overhead kiosks spread through Swedish towns as a fast, cheap way to grab food on the go, and the format has barely changed because it simply works.
