Tusker

It's named after a pig's tusk — a traditional symbol of wealth and status in Vanuatu once used as a form of currency.
Tusker is a lager brewed in Port Vila by Vanuatu Brewing Ltd since 1990, holding roughly 70% of the local beer market. It's the default order at bars, market stalls, and beachside restaurants across the islands.
Why it's made this way: Since its 1990 launch, Tusker has become the country's dominant, most recognized local drink brand, its tusked-pig imagery drawing on a symbol deeply rooted in ni-Vanuatu culture.
